Access Course to Law Degree

If you are interested in starting a career in law, history or literature and journalism, this access to higher education law courses will help you progress to college-level studies. You will build a portfolio of evidence throughout the course that includes written assignments, controlled assessments, exams, presentations, brochures and consultation brochures on research projects. All candidates are interviewed to ensure that the course is the right choice based on previous education and work experience. Each student must provide at least one satisfactory reference in support of their application. If you have successfully completed this course, you will receive an Ascentis Access to HE degree in Law and Criminal Justice. Successful completion of this course can lead to the transition to a law program. You will also be assisted in the process of your UCAS application and your tutors will provide you with a reference. Newcastle College, in partnership with West Lancashire College, which is also part of the National College Group, NCG, has launched a range of free online adult education courses*. You will need a residential address in the UK to study this qualification (you may be seconded abroad).

If you are currently based outside the UK, you must be able to provide proof of UK residency before the end of the course. In this case, please inform us at the time of the request. If you want to study law at university but left school without the required qualifications, this higher education access course might be for you. Every year, more than 20,000 students with access to higher education apply for a study programme at a UK university. If you are pursuing a relevant degree at the university, your Advanced Apprentice Loan will be forgiven by Student Finance England. You must be at least 19 years old to apply for this course. Not all careers require a degree, and a higher education access degree in law is also a great way to maximize your career prospects, for example: Once you`ve completed your higher education access course, you can earn a college degree at a university or college. They should always check the university`s entry requirements, both mandatory and preferred, as they often say what they expect from a candidate. This may include an internship, specific interpersonal skills, or proof of general reading and existing knowledge of the degree, career, or industry. This course is assessed through course assignments, tests and exams throughout the course, which are defined and graded by your teachers and moderated externally by OCN London. Entry Level, Level 1, Level 2If you are 19 years of age or older on August 31 of the year you start your course and have resided in the UK/EU/EEA for 3 years, your course may be free depending on your situation. Former law and criminology students are currently studying for a variety of degrees at a number of colleges. These include law at ARU and the University of Leicester, law with international relations in Surrey, law and business in Canterbury Christchurch and degrees in criminology from the University of Essex (Southend campus) and ARU (Cambridge campus).

If you are under the age of 20 at the start of your course or if you are entering Grade 2 of a Level 3 course and caring for your own child, you may be entitled to a maximum of £175.00 per week per child through Care to Learn.
